The Library occupies the lower level of the manor, open to the public during operating hours. Within these walls, quiet study and thoughtful inquiry are held in highest regard.

Visitors are invited to explore the shelves at leisure, consult archival materials, or settle into the Reading Hall for uninterrupted reflection.

Reading Hall

The central hall, once Edmund Wraithbourne’s drafting chamber, now serves as the Main Reading Room. Long oak tables, individual reading lamps, and quiet alcoves provide a setting suited for concentration and study.

• Food and drink are not permitted within the stacks.
